The Slow Pitch Venom SJV is engineered using OceanDevil’s most advanced blank development process, incorporating the latest NET-V III structural architecture. The blank is constructed from a hybrid of TORAYCA® T1100G ultra-high density nanocarbon and TORAYCA® M40X high-modulus elastic carbon, delivering an exceptional balance of strength, responsiveness, and weight efficiency.

This advanced carbon composition results in a multi-action slow-pitch jigging rod capable of adapting to both fast mechanical jigging and traditional slow-pitch presentations. Action and response are dynamically influenced by lure weight, cadence, and retrieve speed, allowing the angler to fine-tune performance across a wide range of deep-water scenarios.

The blank is designed to transmit precise input with minimal effort, enabling controlled micro-movements that bring jigs to life with natural, enticing action. Despite its refined sensitivity, the rod maintains powerful recovery and lifting capability, reducing physical strain when engaging aggressive, high-resistance species.

Outfitted with FUJI stainless steel guide frames, the Slow Pitch Venom SJV ensures smooth line flow, reduced friction, and reliable durability under sustained load—enhancing efficiency during prolonged jigging sessions.

To further enhance stability, the blank is fully reinforced with a four-axis carbon wrap, effectively eliminating torsional distortion. This reinforcement guarantees consistent tracking, superior control, and clean energy transfer throughout every lift, drop, and hook-set.
