Bought the pe 1 line knowing it was gonna be super thin and strong. But wow it exceeded my expectations because I didn’t expect it too perform this well. Feels illegal to have this. I can cast so much further I have to be mindful of over casting because it can definitely launch deadly missles.
I’ve already caught a huge snook on my first trip out with it and it handle it fine!

No amount of words really shows how pleased I am with this product. Coming from using traditional PowerPro braid that was common off of the shelf to this SilkOcean Cast has made the biggest difference in catching new fish and landing bigger fish than I would’ve imagined. I once had only 400 yds of 65lb power pro on my reel for tuna and now I get over 500+ yds of silk ocean on it that’s rated to 108lbs, so way thinner diameter at a stronger breaking point has truly reinvented the future of landing these monster tuna. I will gladly pay double if not triple the price for this braided line over any other company. This line has landed me several tuna all pushing just under 200lbs without any worries whatsoever.
